Maruti Suzuki Ritz will be available in both petrol and diesel flavours and can be snapped up for Rs 3.9 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The diesel version sells for Rs 4.6 lakh.
Maruti Suzuki Ritz will compete against such hatchbacks as the super popular Hyundai i10, Maruti's own Swift and A Star.
The car also drives in with a title of ‘A car for everyone’ that boasts of an ample amount of legroom for 5 adults. The Ritz combines modern European design, the sportiness of the Swift, the latest in engine technology and Suzuki’s globally acclaimed expertise in compact cars.
The Ritz arrives in two different power-train options. The first option features a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder, 16-valve unit with maximum power of 85PS petrol engine that boasts off a fantastic fuel efficiency of 17.7 kmpl and is also certified as per CMVR rule 115. The next option that is available, loads on a 1.3-litre, Common Rail 16-valve diesel (DDiS) unit that offers a maximum power of 75PS and teams up outstanding fuel efficiency of 21.1 kmpl and flaunts its certification as per CMVR rule 115.
The LXi Model features a price tag of Rs. 4.05 lacs (Ex-Showroom Mumbai), the VXi is offered at a price of Rs. 4.37 lacs (Ex-Showroom Mumbai), the Zxi prices itself at Rs. 5.02 lacs (Ex-Showroom Mumbai), the LDi is priced at Rs. 4.80 lacs (Ex-Showroom Mumbai) and lastly the VDi model features a heavy price tag of Rs. 5.15 lacs.
